Mitchell’s Mile

In December 2017, we lost a teenager by the name of Mitchell Price to suicide. We want to provide our community with the awareness to help prevent future victims of suicide.  The event we will host a 3 mile walk/run in the memory of Mitchell Price & other suicide victims. All proceeds will be donated to the following organizations AFSP and SOSL.

Mental Health First Aid Class

Saturday's | April 27 & May 11 | 8:30a - 12:30p 8-hour certified course that gives people the skills to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. In the Mental Health First Aid course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.   There is no charge for this class. Open to adults and high school-aged students.
