QPR Class
Saturday, February 8 from 9-11am
QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) is a training open to adults (high school students ok if they attend with a parent). This class is designed to teach about the warning signs of a suicide crisis, and how to respond. QPR is essentially a mental health equivalent to CPR; you will get the tools you need to help someone in crisis, get the help they need. The content is valuable to anyone but especially important for: parents, teachers, life group leaders, prayer team, first impressions, and kids/youth volunteers and staff. As a result, participants will:
-
Recognize the warning signs of suicide
-
Know how to offer hope
-
Know how to get help and save a life
